Just like beekeepers and gardeners, Scissors believe in cross-pollination. Projects often come our way if they require something a bit different, and this encourages us to collaborate across many various and sometimes unexpected areas of expertise.

CREATIVE
Creativity is what we are known for and it holds a place in the centre of everything we do. We can help completing an unorthodox strategy or conceiving ideas for that special campaign. We also do a lot of design and executions. A good example of this is The Sydney International Animation Festival, which Scissors is commissioned to brand and design for the third year in a row. We also have experience working with bigger brands such as IBM, BONDS and QANTAS.
IDEAS
Scissors can help providing ideas for different campaigns, executions, design solutions and so on. Give us a go and see what we can come up with.
DIGITAL
Being closely involved in the development of the digital scene is a definite must if you want to take part in how the communication world is shaping. Scissors is therefore putting extra emphasis on digital projects, where we believe some of the greatest possibilities lie. We have experience from working with some of the bigger brands on cutting edge projects, such as using an virtual tennis court with live data sources to give fans at the Australian Open a greater experience.
PRODUCTION
Scissors also loves to produce and execute a lot of creative work such as animation and film. Our style is quite experimental and art-inspired, and our effects and style is often made in-camera in an almost Gondresque way. One example of a production is the video we made for Greenpeace, where an ice heart pumps without the aid of CGI.
ARTS
Scissors is deeply involved with the art community, producing a vast array of different artworks. Contemporary, photography and video art is what Scissors has been known for, but lately we have been making quite a bit of interactive artworks. We produced a digital wallpaper that was exhibited at the Sydney Vivid festival on a 15 meter wide screen in downtown Sydney.
